Halloweenie

So, here are our punkins for '08. I went with Lucy, Daughter of the Devil. For those of you not familiar with the Adult Swim cartoon I am absolutely addicted to it. It's the best thing since Home Movies - yeah, I said it! Brian's Warty Wade looks better in the daylight (daylight picture coming). Wade is totally covered with warts, you can see a couple of them at the top.
So we saw the NIN show Saturday night. The set list was a fantastic mix-up. The lights/visual were out of this world, and I heard the best version of "Hey Pig" EVER. They played for almost two and a half hours. We got pretty close and had a blast. This evening we are, of course, watching the elating results of the election coming in. There are a lot of results to go but it is looking very positive. I waited in line for almost 2.5 hours this morning. Anyway, hope everyone had a chance to vote, record turnouts are the shiznit. Peace.

Olympics Suck It

Ok so I had enough of the Olympic's while it was on as I had nothing but time so I seemed to watch just about every minute of it while I wasn't at work. Anyway I caught the synchronized swimming one day and it reminded me of this wonderful clip from SNL back when it was worth watching. Warehouse Entomology!!!

Hey! It's me! The other half of team Mable. After several years of working in a facility that receives pallets and pallets of parts from other countries on a daily basis, we have seen our fair share of bizarre bugs. On occasion we've even been able to capture some of them on "film". So I present to you our first installation of Warehouse Entomology. Starting from the top - the Royal Walnut Moth, the Imperial Moth, and the Great Leopard Moth (all commonly found in the Eastern US) and millipede...yech. More to come as we find these crazy critters.
